This type of stitch is characterised by its elasticity and its ability to stretch and contract with the sewing material without breaking the stitching, and is suitable for threaded garments made from elastic fabrics or for overlocked products and garment blanks that are easily loosened. \x0d\x0a In addition, sewing machines can be divided according to their use into machines for domestic, industrial and service industries, and according to the form of drive they can also be divided into hand-crank sewing machines, foot-operated sewing machines and electric sewing machines.
